Landscape Character Assessment

This geopackage contains spatial datasets developed as part of the County Kildare Landscape Character Assessment (2025), which was subsequently incorporated through Variation No. 4 of the Kildare County Development Plan 2023–2029 (as varied). The datasets are intended to support planning policy by informing decision-making, protecting the character and quality of the landscape, and guiding appropriate and sustainable development across the county. The geopackage includes polygon datasets representing the following:
